About Me
Hello! Thanks for visiting my website. My love for the harp began in my grandparents’ basement, where a small Paraguayan folk harp resided next to the couch. I frequently visited the harp and stared in wonder at the strings. I started lessons in Utah and continued to study the harp at Manhattan School of Music, where I received Master and Bachelor of Music degrees. New York was full of musical adventures for me, performing everywhere from the lawns of central park to Carnegie Hall. Since graduating, my harp and I have been busy performing as a substitute in orchestras, at weddings, in churches, and a few other surprising places. One of the most gratifying aspects of my music career has been teaching music. Formerly as a classroom teacher in an El Sistema-inspired program, and currently with my private harp/piano studio, I love to solve musical problems, play theory games and explore new repertoire with my students. Even after playing the harp for all these years, I sometimes stare at my instrument with the same wonder I had as a child. Whether as a performer at your special event or as your music teacher, I hope to share the joy of music with you!
